Day 1: Fes – Ifrane – Azrou – Midelt – Ziz Valley – Merzouga.
In Fes To Marrakech desert tour 4 days 3 nights, Pick up at 07:30 – ( 08.30)*1 from hotel/riad.
Drive to Merzouga stopping at Ifrane morocco Switzerland ” that established by the French in 1930 to see the famous landmark stone Lion. After that, we’ll head to Azrou to see Barbary apes (Monkeys) leaping from higher trees branches plus a visit to local nomads who live in a cave for mint tea with them to learn more about their way of life & have information about their culture & Morocco Berber history.
13:00 Continue On our way to Midelt town where we’ll have lunch at REST
Afternoon, cross the pass of TIZI N TALGHAMT to reach Errachidia while admiring the views of Ziz gorges. & Later on, stopping at Ziz valley for a panoramic view & capture.
16.00 continues to Erg Chebbi Dunes passing by Erfoud where we’ll have visited a local fossil craft workshop.
Continue to Merzouga.
17.300 On arrival, to Merzouga transfer to hotel/riad with total clients comfort, security & high quality of service. So, you can store your luggage, take a short break, enjoy some tea and relax. ( Overnight hotel/riad in Merzouga)
Day 2: Merzouga – Rissani Excursion
10.30H: We’ll have an Excursion to Rissani, we’ll Drive through sand dunes and fabulous landscapes stop to watch nomadic black tents and visit the nomadic families to drink with them a cup of tea and discover what a nomadic and Berber culture, and tradition and life look like.
12.30H: We’ll have a funny excursion to Rissani to see the kasbah and old palaces; we’ll have dinner with a traditional meal known as the Moroccan pizza « Madfouna »
14.00 H: Back to the hotel to relax and be ready for a camel trek
15.00H: We’ll enjoy the camel ride to discover the most fascinating sight ever seen, superb sunset in the middle of the high sand dunes of Merzouga (Erg Chebbi).
18.30H: Transfer by camel to Sahara desert camp where we’ll have an amusing dinner under a starry sky, sweet and cool air, watching a spectacular Moroccan show of Berber folklore around a central fire pit where musicians bang drums. Be sure you’ll not just listen and dance you’ll also attempt to sing along. Since the drums vibrating are very fabulous, You’ll enjoy also a traditional Berber meal “Berber tajine” and drinking mint tea while sitting on cushions you’ll spend a mythical night like you are in a 1000 starts hotel or more. Overnight will be in the desert tents.
Day 3: Merzouga – Boumalne Dades -Valley of Roses – Kelaa M’gouna- Skoura- Ouarzazate.
07.30 Early morning, we’ll enjoy Sun rising in the desert of Merzouga by camel riding back to the hotel for a delicious Breakfast & shower.
09.30 Get up early to take your breakfast at your hotel
10.30 leave for Ouarzazate Passing through the impressive Valley of Roses beautiful valleys in the south taking many stops to enjoy time & capture photos.
12.00 we’ll visit Kelaat Mgouna, Berber city which celebrates the yearly May festival of roses, with your driver we’ll meet locals & see rose water products made only from the rose used for face &
13.30 we’ll have lunch at a local restaurant at Kelaat Mgouna
After lunch, continue to skoura & Ouarzazate where we’ll spend the night in an attractive riad with smiling and pleasant staff.
Day 4: Ouarzazate – Ait Benhaddou- Tizi N’tichka Pass- Marrakech
08.30 Get up early to take your breakfast at your hotel
09.30 we’ll drive to Ait Ben Hhaddou Kasbah (UNESCO world heritage site) where families still live in fortified Ksar. we’ll have much time to discover this natural decoration for so many movies around 20 movies which were shot in this attractive area like “Lawrence of Arabia”, Babel, “The Mummy “, “ Jesus of Nazareth”…, we’ll cross High Atlas Mountains & stroll the dried river to discover Ait Benhaddou Kasbahs.
we’ll cross the High Atlas Mountains & make many stops to enjoy the cool air & capture unforgettable photos again.
13.30 arrive at Tichka and have lunch at a local restaurant
14.30 continue our drive to Marrakech via Tizi n’Tichka pass (2260 m in altitude) while enjoying superb views and Berber Villages on the way.
18:00 On arrival to Marrakech, transfer to Hotel or Riad. End of Fez Marrakech desert tour 4 days 3 nights.
