Day 1: Casablanca → Rabat → Meknes → Volubilis → Fes
Your Sahara Desert tour begins in the morning with pickup from your hotel/riad in Casablanca. The journey starts toward Fes, with stops along the way:

Rabat: Morocco’s capital city, where you can enjoy a walk near the Hassan Tower and the beautiful coastal views.

Meknes: Known for its Moorish-Spanish architecture and grand imperial heritage.

Moulay Idriss: A holy city, closed to non-Muslims, but a panoramic view from outside is worth seeing.

Volubilis: A UNESCO World Heritage site with well-preserved Roman ruins dating back to the 3rd century BC, including mosaics, arches, and high walls.
Finally, you’ll arrive in Fes. After checking into your riad/hotel, you can enjoy lunch and some free time to explore the spiritual city of Morocco.

Day 2: Fes → Ifrane → Cedar Forest (Azrou) → Midelt → Erfoud → Merzouga
After breakfast, the journey heads toward the Sahara Desert:

Immouzer: A charming village famous for its apple festival.

Ifrane: Known as “the Switzerland of Morocco” with its French-style architecture and iconic stone lion.

Cedar Forest (Azrou): The largest forest in Morocco, home to Barbary apes. Stop for photos and enjoy nature.

Arrive in Merzouga, where you’ll be welcomed into a traditional riad.

Day 3: Merzouga Desert Adventure → Camel Trek → Ouarzazate
Wake up early for a magical experience:

Return to Merzouga for breakfast and a shower.
The journey continues toward Ouarzazate:

Day 4: Ouarzazate → Ait Ben Haddou → High Atlas → Marrakech
After breakfast, depart Ouarzazate with incredible stops ahead:

Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah: A UNESCO World Heritage site and Morocco’s most famous kasbah. This fortress has been a filming location for many movies such as Gladiator and Game of Thrones.

Continue through the High Atlas Mountains, crossing the highest pass in Morocco, Tizi n’Tichka (2,260 m).
Arrive in Marrakech in the afternoon. Your driver will drop you at your hotel/riad. Spend the evening strolling through Jemaa el-Fnaa square and the bustling medina.

Day 5: Marrakech Exploration → Casablanca
After breakfast, enjoy free time to explore Marrakech’s vibrant souks, gardens, and historical landmarks (guided tour optional).
